Delivery, Returns and Refunds
This shipping and returns policy applies between you, the User of this Website and theFATE (the Fashion Africa Trade Expo), the owner and provider of this Website, theFATE. Please read this policy carefully.
Welcome to theFATE (an agency of “Africa Fashion Guide Ltd”) shipping and returns notice.
When can I expect delivery?
When you join as a customer theFATE shop product orders are shipped from our supplier partners.
Your order is sent to the vendor/supplier from the country noted in the product description and thus the customers order is expected to arrive within the timeframe noted on the product description page. If sent from the Africa Fashion Guide Ltd London UK headquarters’ then orders can be expected to be received 3-5 working days later (we use Royal Mail signed for delivery service) but this can vary. We use Royal Mail International Standard postage for those outside the UK which aims to deliver in 7-10 working days.
Where do you deliver to?
We currently deliver to the UK (plus postage)
We do ship internationally to the US and Canada, EU, New Zealand or Australia but if you can’t select your country, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll add you if we can.
Customs and import taxes may apply to some international orders. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs, shipping or political changes to trade.
Policy digital goods
Our online course and digital products are currently delivered by Internet download only or accessed via our membership portal. After your purchase has been approved we will process your order. Orders are typically processed within one (1) hour but could take as long as twenty four (24) hours to complete. Once your order has been processed we will send you a confirmation email using the email address you provided on our order form.
This email will serve as your electronic purchase receipt and will contain the information you need to access our product downloads.
Downloads from our servers are closely monitored to ensure you are able to successfully access our products. While we are flexible and allow you to complete a reasonable number of downloads we will not tolerate download abuse. We reserve the right to terminate your access to our download servers.
We stand behind our products and your satisfaction with them is important to us. As our products are digital goods based on a membership subscription or delivered via Internet download we do not have to offer refunds. However, if you change your mind about your purchase of a digital good before delivered via Internet download we will happily issue you a refund upon your request, which must be made within thirty (30) days of your original purchase. Refund requests made after you have downloaded our product are handled on a case by case basis and are issued at our sole discretion.

Policy physical goods
We pack every order that we despatch from the Africa Fashion Guide headquarters with utmost care but if anything is missing or has been damaged in transit, let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get a replacement out to you asap. We instruct our partners, suppliers and vendors in Africa to take the same care, any damaged goods shipped directly from Africa for theFATE shop must be handled case by case.
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. You will be entitled to receive a refund only if you email within this initial fourteen days of receiving your goods, that you will be entitled to a refund. We reserve the right to change this Returns Policy at any time.
For single products to be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same unused condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Customers are responsible for covering the postage when returning items to us.
Please note that if you have pre-washed any fabrics ordered, it cannot be returned. Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted, such as any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, or any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery
Where refunds are applicable is when your return is received and inspected. We will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If the refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 days.
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first do check your bank account again.Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next step is to contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. As we use Stripe payment systems this can be as much as 5 working days for the payment to return to your bank.If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com
At present we do not accept exchanges unless the product is defective or damaged. Then do first email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for details to return the item. You / the customer must send the product using a SIGNED FOR or TRACKED service. You / the customer will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you.
Changes to this policy
theFATE and Africa Fashion Guide Ltd reserves the right to change this policy as we may deem necessary from time to time or as may be required by law. Any changes will be immediately posted on the Website and you are deemed to have accepted the terms of the policy on your first use of the Website following the alterations.You may contact Wax and Wraps by email@example.com
